Strictly Funk Dance Company is the premiere hip-hop and contemporary dance group at the University of Pennsylvania.
The company was formed in 1997 with the intention of transcending the traditional boundaries of dance.
The Hall of Funk is an archival and visual project that celebrates and explores Strictly Funk’s rich history within the past 25 years. The project includes an exhibition, a produced documentary, and a custom photoshoot that accentuates what makes Funk so meaningful to the Penn and Philadelphia community.
